Hey, everyone! It’s Top Ten Tuesday again! This time, it’s about those recommendations that we’ve been given. Whether it’s from IRL or online, there’s always someone willing to recommend you something special to read. Here are just some of the recommendations I’ve been given:
1. The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
My fellow blogger Meghan recommended that I try it!
2. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
After my cousin read this, she suggested I read it, too!
3. Ten Things I Hate About Me by Randa Abdel-Fattah
I’m so glad I heard about this one from my high school librarian! Read all the author’s other books since!
4. The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima
Both a friend IRL and in the blogeverse told me to read this one! And I’m happy that I did! 😉
5. Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn
I saw a lot of bloggers rave about this book, so I decided to read it.
6. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
My friend specifically recommended this to me one day in the library… 😉
7. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
I remember one of my friends having this book with her at lunch and telling me to read it. 🙂
8. Unearthly by Cynthia Hand
A classmate had this book and told me it was really good. So, obviously I had to read it! 😀
9. Jinx by Meg Cabot
My cousin tried to get me to read this… and I finally did! I didn’t enjoy it as much as her, though…
10. Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett
My professor got me into this! I love Tiffany Aching, Granny Weatherwax, and the rest of the Discworld now! 😀
Well, that’s it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! If you have any comments or questions, please leave them in the Comments Section below. Have a nice day!

Hi, everybody! Welcome back to another Top Ten Tuesday! This week’s topic wasn’t the easiest, as it asks us to name our favourite books in a category! I know, the horror! *shudders* Instead of going on about books that I love forever and ever in categories like fantasy or contemporary, I’ve decided to focus on a certain category I’ve been reading lately: the fandom friendly books. I really like this category and haven’t been really disappointed by the books I’ve read so far. Here are just some of the books I’ve read and liked:
1. Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde
2. All the Feels by Danika Stone
3. The Sound of Us by Julie Hammerle
4. The Summer I Became a Nerd by Leah Rae Miller
5. The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash
6. The Improbable Theory of Amy and Zak by Brian Katcher
7. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
8. Scarlett Epstein Hates it Here by Anna Breslaw
9. Ms. Marvel Vol. 1: No Normal by G. Willow Wilson
10. Signs Point to Yes by Sandy Hall
So that’s it for my Top Ten! Any books that match yours? Do you know any fandom friendly books that weren’t mentioned in this list? If so, then please share these comments in the section below. Thanks for reading!
Hi, everyone! Another Tuesday means another TTT! Since last week was all about school, this week’s topic is a bit different; mainly in that it’s TV related! While September can mean the start of a new school year, it also means that hiatuses for most shows are coming to a close. My Top Ten Tuesday for this week is dedicated to the shows I’m excited to see this fall! And here they are:
1. Supergirl (CW)
2. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (CW)
3. The Flash (CW)
4. The Mindy Project (Hulu)
5. Fresh Off the Boat (ABC)
6. The Middle (ABC)
7. Superstore (NBC)
8. Jane the Virgin (CW)
9. Arrow (CW)
10. Black-ish (ABC)
So that’s it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! Are any of these shows on your list? What TV shows are you looking forward to this fall (or year in general)? For any comments, questions or TTT shares, please leave them in the Comments Section below. Have a nice day, everyone! 😁
Hello, fellow bloggers and lovely readers! I’m back with another Top Ten! Since school’s right around the corner for a lot of people, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday is dedicated to anything school-related. My Top Ten is all about those amazing books set in schools (and not limited to boarding schools, like my TTT a couple of weeks ago 😉 ). This opens the field to a lot of books! Well, without further ado, here are my Top Ten:
Chloe quits reality television and gives going to school a try!
Well, that’s all I have for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! Are any of these books on your TTT? If you have any thoughts or questions, or if you’d like to share a link to your own TTT, feel free to leave them in the Comments Section below. Have a nice day! 😀
Hey, everyone! It’s Top Ten Tuesday again, and this time, it’s all about the infamous TBR pile! As book lovers, there might have been a lot of books we’ve read and enjoyed, but there are also a lot out there that we haven’t gotten to reading. Sad, but true! Here are just some of the books I haven’t read:
1. The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White
While I did love Kirsten White’s Paranormalcy series, I wasn’t ready to jump on board with another series…
2. The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa
I kind of wish I continued this series, because the last book did end on an interesting note! 😉
3. Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
I had this on my TBR before I even knew that Morgan Matson was popular…
4. Cress by Marissa Meyer
I guess I fell out of love with the series…
5. The Last Best Kiss by Claire LeZebnik
I didn’t like Persuasion to begin with, so I wasn’t so keen on reading its retelling
6. The Girl with the Windup Heart by Kady Cross
I probably should have read it since it was the last in the series… I just got tired of it…
7. The Secret Diamond Sisters by Michelle Madow
It seemed really interesting, and I regret not reading it still… 😦
8. Intertwined by Gena Showalter
I think this was really popular at the time, and that’s why I wanted to read it… *shrugs in a confused manner*
9. Waistcoats and Weaponry by Gail Carriger
I returned this one to the library before I could read it and haven’t gotten it back since…
10. Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
Tried to read this a bunch of times, but never got into it…
So that’s it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! How many books have you haven’t read? Are there any books on your TBR that you have truly fallen out interest or has this TTT renewed that former interest? I’d love to hear from you all in the Comments Section below. Have a nice day! 🙂

So, without further ado, here are my top ten books with boarding schools in them.
1. Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
2. Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
3. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
4. Welcome to Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare
5. Withering Tights by Louise Rennison
6. Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter
7. Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout
8. Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
9. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
10. Oh. My. Gods. by Tera Lynn Childs
That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed reading my post. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to leave them in the Comments Section. Have a nice day!
Hello, lovely readers! It’s time for Top Ten Tuesday again! This week’s topic is pretty easy. It’s about the books you’d buy if you were given a loaded gift card. Since a price wasn’t discussed, I’m just going to pretend it’s an unlimited gift card and I’ll be able to get any books I want. Now, these are only some of the books that I’d buy with the gift card; there are plenty more that I can imagine buying, but here are a few:
Well, that’s it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! Is my list similar to yours? Were there stuff that you had forgotten about or didn’t even think of buying? If you have any comments or questions concerning Top Ten Tuesday, please leave them in the Comments Section below. Have a nice day, everyone, and thanks for reading!
