Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Hey there, fellow readers! It’s been a while since my last Top Ten Tuesday, but I thought I’d get back into the habit of writing these posts! This week’s TTT is about the books we meant to read in 2017, but never got a chance to. I don’t know about you, but there are a lot of books I really wanted to read, whether they were new releases, part of a series, or just because they sounded really awesome! Here are just some of the books I wished I had the time to read last year:
Do you have any books you really wanted to read in 2017, but never got a chance to do so? Feel free to share them in the Comments Section below!
Have a nice day, everyone!

Ooh! So many great books! I really need to read Saints and Misfits, Last Star Burning (especially since she’s local), and One Dark Throne! Our book club will be reading The Hate U Give next month so I know I’ll get to that one this year! I’ve not heard of A Week of Mondays but it looks adorable! Great post!

Ya. I created it with Krysti over at YA and Wine. It’s been so much fun hosting it the past year and a half! 🙂

One Dark Throne is still sitting on my shelf, and I feel bad for not picking it up sooner. I hope to pick up the Hate U Give too. It sounds great!

Don’t feel bad! You probably have a whole bunch of other books that you wanted to read first.
THUG does sound great!

The Hate U Give! :O
Hopefully you get to it before the movie, although I’m not sure when that’s coming out. I think they wrapped filming not too long ago.
Good luck!

That is a great list! I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on The Hate U Give. I know everyone says this, but it’s a classic if there ever was one. People will be reading that book for YEARS.

The Hate U Give and Warcross both made my top 10 reads for 2017! I’ve also been meaning to read Truthwitch and When Dimple met Rishi.

Such great choices! The Hate U Give is AMAZING (I was worried it was too hyped up, but I loved it). Under a Painted Sky turned out to be one of my favorite books, even though the story line/theme did not sound at all interesting to me. It then led me to read the Gold Seer trilogy by Rae Carson… I think I have fallen in love with YA “westerns”. I also REALLY want to read When Dimple Met Rishi! I hope you get to read them all this year 🙂

Good to know! I’m looking forward to reading THUG!
Have you read Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman? I think it might be right up your alley if you like YA Westerns! 😉
