Hey there, fellow readers! We’ve reached that time of week again: Which Cover Wednesday! For those of you who don’t know, Which Cover Wednesday is a meme I host where I show two different covers of the same book and choose which one is better (in my opinion). And if you’d like to give your opinions on these covers as well, just leave your thoughts in the Comments Section below! Now, let’s begin!

1.  The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig

In this case, I think I’d go with the first cover. I like how it’s simplistic and understated compared to the overcrowdedness of the second cover. From the bold typography and the little bits of cover art to that solid black background, I love it all! And I didn’t notice until much later that there are eyes in the water, weirdly enough! 😀

2. Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn’t Have) by Sarah Mlynowski

Second cover wins my vote! Not only does it match the design of the author’s most recent book, I See London, I See France, but I like the way it conveys the story with the cover. The first cover merely looks like a romantic Contemporary, but there was much more going on in Ten Things than that!

3. Breathe, Annie, Breathe by Miranda Kenneally

Based on summary alone, it would be a pretty tough call to pick between these two covers. The first cover relates more to the premise in the protagonist’s positioning and athletic wear while the second cover follows the style of the author’s previous novels. In the end, I’d go with the first cover, because of its ties to the plot.

4. Paper Princess by Erin Watt (English and Danish)

This one’s a little too easy! I’d definitely go with the first cover! I love the detail given to the crown as well as how it takes up the space on the cover! That plus the tag line and positioning of the title makes it a really great cover in my eyes! And while I admit that the second cover is pretty nice, I don’t think it conveys the storyline at all…

Well, that’s it for this week’s Which Cover Wednesday! Where there any covers that stood out to you in this week’s post? If so, let me know in the Comments Section below, as well as any thoughts and suggestions you might have for next week’s Which Cover Wednesday. Have a nice day, everyone!
