Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Hey, everybody! Another Tuesday, another Top Ten! This week’s topic is about those duos you think would write great books together. Here’s my list!
1. Rachel Vincent and Gena Showalter
I can see these two writing together since they have such similar protagnonists and work with similar genres
2. Sarah J. Maas and Alex Flinn
This pairing is mostly because of the fairytale retellings that both these authors have written…
3. Tahereh Mafi and Ransom Riggs
I haven’t read a book by Ransom Riggs (yet). But how great would it be for this couple to write a book together? A book by them would be the cutest thing ever!
4. Simone Elkeles and Katie McGarry
Both Perfect Chemistry and Pushing the Limits are on the same level of YA contemporary, in terms of the feels, so they would be a superb pairing!
5. Richelle Mead and Cassandra Clare
I wonder how a book by these two authors would turn out. That’s why I parked them: pure curiosity. 😉
6. Gail Carriger and Kady Cross
Go Steampunk! With the supernatural and Victorian elements, you know you won’t go wrong if Gail Carriger and Kady Cross paired up!
7. L.J. Smith and Christopher Pike
Since both of these authors started from the 90s, I wonder what kind of perspective they would bring together in 2015.
8. Rainbow Rowell and Stephanie Perkins
Since they already have an anthology together, I think they could probably pull off a coauthorship as well.
9. Corey Ann Haydu and Sarah Dessen
Their books are on the same line of YA contemporary, in that it has a dark, complicated side as well as light…
10. Heather Demetrios and Laurie Boyle Crompton
Now I can imagine these two writing great contemporaries together.
Those are my Top Ten! Who are yours? Feel free to leave your Top Ten as well as any comments or questions in the Comments section below. Until next time…

Ooh I agree with Rainbow and Stephanie – that would just be a ball of adorableness. I haven’t read half of the other authors you’ve mentioned though! 😛

I’ve never read anything by Corey Ann Haydu, but seeing her paired up with Sarah Dessen makes me want to read something by her. Thanks for the recommendation! 🙂
