Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
Hello again! It’s Tuesday, and that means a number of things, but for this post it means Top Ten Tuesday time! 😉 This Tuesday’s topic is about those characters that you couldn’t stand within a book you read. At first, I couldn’t think of anyone. Then my cousin ignited my rage by mentioning that character I really hate, and I started to rant. That made choosing my Top Ten easier. These characters are mostly from books I’ve recently read in the past year, but that’s because they were so easy to remember. I probably have a lot more characters that I hate than this! Well, without further ado, here are my top ten:
10. Chaol from Heir of Fire:
9. Celeste from The Selection series
8. Carter Kane from The Kane Chronicles
7. Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series
6. Jax from The Lexie Project
5. Raffaele from The Young Elites
4. Mrs. Reed from Jane Eyre
3. Nesta from A Court of Thorns and Roses
2. King of Adarlan from the Throne of Glass series
1. Mare Barrow from Red Queen
So that’s it for my Top Ten. I’d like to hear from you: any characters you just couldn’t like? Then mention it in the comments below! Have a great day!

The spoilers! The spoilers! 😛
How long did it take you to read it exactly? Are you a reading ninja?

Lol you’ll see it in the first 5% of the book so its not too spoiler-y I promise 🙂 lol! It took me 9.5 hours! lol Reading Ninja, I love that. Actually thats quite long for me, it generally only takes me about an hour to an hour and a half for every 100 pages of a book. But I didn’t have to work today and I woke up at like 6 to start, and I didn’t cook dinner or do any chores lol So it was kind of cheating…

Nine and a half hours isn’t that long (at least to me! 😉
And I don’t think it’s cheating; I’d probably do the same thing if I could get away with it.

lol its a knack that makes my reading habit very expensive since i go through them so quickly! yea its not often, but every now and then I get lucky and have off work on the same day as a major book release and whenever that happens I tell my poor boyfriend all bets are off on chores and responsibility. He is a gamer though so sometimes he does it when a new game comes out lol!

That’s too funny! And I hope you had a good time on Queen of Shadows day (which you probably did, judging from the quick review)! 😉

Maybe in the last book he was okay, but he was so horrible to Harry in the others!
While Celeste does redeem herself in the end, I just couldn’t get that earlier idea about her… it might be because Kiera Cass yanked her out too quickly…

But that’s just him! I guess I do kind of like the bad boy… Lol
And I can agree with you on Celeste, I think there could have been more if her redemption hadn’t happened before the end of the third book.

Mrs. Reed was pure evil. My romantic little mind convinced myself my mother was just as bad but I suppose she really wasn’t. Lol after all she did let me live at home.
